Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications accurately, ensuring patient safety
• Receive and verify prescriptions, process pricing, and complete patient paperwork
• Obtain pharmacist approval before medications are released
• Assist with insurance claims processing using online systems
• Maintain pharmacy inventory by stocking, pricing, and organizing medications
• Deliver medications to patients or healthcare facilities as needed
• Adhere to infection-control procedures and pharmacy regulations at all times

Qualifications

• Active Michigan Pharmacy Technician license
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) from any recognized source
• Prior retail pharmacy experience is required
• Experience with Epic pharmacy software is required
• BLS certification is preferred
