Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist pediatric dentists during a variety of dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to ensure safety
• Take dental X-rays and create impressions as directed
• Provide compassionate care and education to young patients and their families
• Maintain accurate patient records and support efficient clinic operations
• Help create a positive and fun dental experience for children

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or state-specific certification/licensure
• Radiography certification for taking dental X-rays
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Previous experience in a dental office, especially pediatrics, is a plus
• A friendly, patient-centered attitude with strong communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and terminology
• Familiarity with dental software and electronic health records
• Understanding of infection control protocols and OSHA standards
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Compassionate and calm approach when working with children
