Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms to maintain the highest safety standards.
• Take and develop dental X-rays, capturing clear images for accurate diagnosis.
• Educate patients and families on oral hygiene and post-treatment care, with a special focus on pediatric patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update dental charts with treatment details.
• Manage inventory of dental supplies and ensure the clinic is fully stocked and ready.

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or completion of a dental assisting program.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• X-ray certification or willingness to obtain.
• Previous experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, patient-centered demeanor.

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization techniques, and chairside procedures.
• Familiarity with dental software for patient records and scheduling.
• Skill in taking digital X-rays and intraoral photos.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Compassionate approach to working with children and anxious patients.
