Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection with skill and care
• Verify patient identities and ensure proper labeling of samples
• Provide a positive patient experience during blood draws
• Collaborate with lab professionals to ensure accurate testing
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment following infection control protocols
• Utilize state-of-the-art laboratory instrumentation with confidence

Qualifications

• 2+ years of inpatient phlebotomy experience required
• Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or equivalent
• Strong venipuncture skills across diverse patient populations
• Ability to work every other weekend
• Travel experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of phlebotomy procedures and techniques
• Understanding of specimen handling and processing
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
• Proficiency with electronic health records and lab systems
• Knowledge of safety and infection control standards
