Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic echocardiograms and general ultrasound procedures with precision
• Prepare patients and conduct imaging studies in a compassionate, professional manner
• Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images for physician interpretation
• Collaborate with physicians to review results and adjust protocols as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Function independently in a high-stress, intensive environment while providing excellent patient care

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of current general ultrasound experience
• Active ARDMS or CCI (RDCS/RCS) certification as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer
• Current BLS certification through AHA or ARC
• Vascular experience and RVT/RVS certification are a plus
• Must have your own reliable vehicle and be willing to travel (facility does not consider travelers residing within 50 miles)
• A valid driver's license and proof of permission to work

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in patient handling and positioning
• Strong stress management skills for intensive environments
• Ability to work independently and make quick decisions
• Experience with HIS and CIS computer systems
• Knowledge of clinical emergency equipment such as oxygen tanks and suction apparatus
• Vascular ultrasound skills (preferred)
