Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during patient examinations and procedures to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and maintain a clean, organized treatment area
• Take and develop dental radiographs and intraoral scans as directed
• Educate patients on orthodontic care, appliance wear, and oral hygiene
• Use Denticon software to manage patient records, charting, and scheduling
• Follow infection control protocols and safety standards at all times
• Provide friendly, professional support to patients and teammates

Qualifications

• Orthodontic certification required (must be ortho certified)
• Prior experience as a dental assistant, preferably in orthodontics
• Proficiency with Denticon dental software
• Strong patient communication and customer service skills
• Current CPR certification is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic instruments, materials, and procedures
• Familiarity with digital charting and Denticon software
• Strong attention to detail for accurate record keeping and sterilization
• Time management skills to keep the schedule running smoothly
• Commitment to patient safety and infection control
