Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage life-support equipment such as ventilators to support critically ill patients
• Titrate complex intravenous drips with precision and confidence
• Interpret vital signs and respond quickly to changes in patient status
• Perform comprehensive head-to-toe assessments to guide treatment decisions
• Administer medications safely and monitor for effectiveness and side effects
• Coordinate advanced care with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN license or willingness to obtain one before starting
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience (floating not considered)
• EKG experience required
• Willingness to float to similar units as needed
• Skills checklist completed within one year of application
• Michigan license verification via LARA and Nursys required
• Experience with Neuro, CVICU, Trauma, CRRT, and Balloon Pumps preferred

• Ventilator management and life-support equipment

• ICU and EKG proficiency
• Experience with Neuro, CVICU, and Trauma populations
