Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and preventive care for patients
• Take and process dental X-rays to assist with diagnosis
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
• Support the dentist during procedures and examinations
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
• Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Virginia
• Current CPR certification
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a dental team
• Experience in a dental office setting is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and infection control protocols
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with dental software and patient records
