Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain the highest standards of safety
• Take and develop dental X-rays as directed by the orthodontist
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and care of orthodontic appliances
• Maintain accurate patient records and update clinical charts

Qualifications

• Current Orthodontic Assistant certification (required)
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• A positive attitude and a team-player mindset
• Familiarity with orthodontic procedures and instruments

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of orthodontic procedures and terminology
• Proficiency in patient management and chairside assistance
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Attention to detail and commitment to infection control standards
• Ability to anticipate the needs of the orthodontist and patients
