Roles & Responsibilities

• Care for, handle, and store surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment to ensure they are ready for every procedure
• Process and redistribute sterile goods throughout the medical center, keeping everything organized and accessible
• Assist Sterile Processing Specialists with team lead duties, including maintaining competency standards
• Follow strict infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure the right instruments are available at the right time

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of recent Sterile Processing Technician experience
• Active HSPA certification held for a minimum of 2 years
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• COVID-19 vaccine required (declinations not accepted)
• Previous travel experience preferred and willingness to adapt to facility scheduling
• Ability to complete required compliance tasks and provide supervisory references
