Shift Type: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care plans within a multidisciplinary team
Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and treatment plans
Provide high-quality respiratory care as ordered by physicians
Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care
Share clinical knowledge with staff and students as a role model
Accept reassignment to other units when needed to support the team

Qualifications

Active RRT credential
Current Illinois Respiratory Therapist license
BLS certification
NRP certification
Minimum 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy

Education

Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and unit assignments
