Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with facility policies and standards
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and accurately
• Assess, monitor and document patient condition, reporting changes to the care team
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists and interdisciplinary staff to create and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications and discharge instructions
• Advocate for patient needs and ensure a safe, respectful care environment
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate clinical documentation

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Pennsylvania) or eligibility to obtain one
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS or specialty certifications a plus
• Clinical experience in a similar setting is preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively on a multidisciplinary team
• Demonstrated commitment to patient safety, quality care, and professional development

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid assessment and critical thinking skills for safe patient care
• Proficiency in medication administration and accurate documentation
• Familiarity with electronic health records and basic computer skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Compassionate bedside manner and effective patient/family education techniques
