Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma PCU patients
Monitor and titrate drips including insulin and Cardizem as needed
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and dietitians
Float to same-level MedSurg and PCU units to support patient care across the facility
Perform hourly rounding to ensure excellent patient experience
Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medications with precision and care
Support patients and families through every stage of the oncology journey

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
ONS/ONCC certification preferred
Minimum 1 year of PCU or oncology nursing experience
First-time travelers welcome
EPIC experience within the last 6 months preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in PCU and oncology settings
Experience with ventilators and hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, A-line, Swan-Ganz)
Comfort with chemotherapy administration and titration of cardiac drips
Ability to thrive in a culturally diverse, fast-paced environment
Team-oriented mindset with a genuine passion for patient care
