Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care across multiple PCU and IMC units including cardiac, neuro, oncology, and trauma specialties
Titrate and manage cardiac drips, insulin, Ativan, and Heparin with confidence and precision
Float throughout Zone 1 facilities to support patient needs while maintaining excellent care standards
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to varying patient ratios of 1:3-4 based on acuity levels
Support patients from adults through geriatrics with diverse diagnoses including post-surgical, renal, and detox care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent PCU or IMC experience
Comfortable with cardiac drip titration and medication management
Epic experience preferred, neuro experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac monitoring and drip management skills
Ability to float across multiple specialties and facilities within a 60-mile zone
Excellent communication and adaptability in fast-paced environments
Experience with insulin, Ativan, and Heparin administration
Comfort working with adult and geriatric patient populations
