Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to adult patients on a busy 40-bed PCU unit
Titrate cardiac and critical drips including Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips while managing arterial lines and complex patient conditions
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient experiences and outcomes
Float to MedSurg or ICU as needed to support patients at the PCU level of care
Champion patient safety and satisfaction by focusing on responsiveness, communication, and environment

Qualifications

Active RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Competency managing arterial lines and titrating drips
Strong assessment, communication, and adaptability skills
Willingness to float and embrace feedback while learning on the job

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
Drip titration and arterial line management
Care for cardiac, vascular, sepsis, stroke, dialysis, and respiratory patients
Team collaboration and patient-centered communication
