Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-acuity care to adult patients on a busy 40-bed PCU unit
Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips such as Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips while managing arterial lines and complex patient conditions
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support diagnoses ranging from cardiac and vascular issues to sepsis, stroke, and renal failure
Float to MedSurg or ICU as needed, adapting quickly to changing patient acuity
Champion patient experience by focusing on responsiveness, clear medication communication, and a healing environment

Qualifications

Active RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Competency managing arterial lines and titrating drips
Strong telemetry interpretation skills
Ability to pass an open-book skills exam with a 90 percent score during orientation
Willingness to work every other weekend and at least two holidays during the contract

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
Drip titration and arterial line management
High-flow oxygen equipment troubleshooting
Patient experience excellence and clear communication
Flexibility to float between PCU, MedSurg, and ICU
