Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate patient care using the nursing process and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
• Administer medications and treatments safely, following approved techniques and state regulations
• Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation
• Develop and execute individualized care plans with patient and family involvement
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance quality of care
• Guide other units with your clinical expertise to support patient care
• Use critical thinking to ensure patient safety and escalate concerns appropriately

Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin RN license (must be active)
• NIHSS certification required
• BLS/CPR certification (BCLS) required
• Education verification required
• Prior experience in an acute care setting preferred
• Ability to float to other units as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in patient care and medication administration
• Care planning and clinical documentation skills
• Strong critical thinking and patient education abilities
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
