Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Circulate for a variety of surgical procedures including total joints, arthroscopy, ENT, GYN, colorectal, and neurosurgery cases.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgery.
• Maintain a sterile field and assist the surgical team with equipment, supplies, and positioning.
• Use specialized equipment such as Stryker arthroscopy and video systems, Jackson tables, and microscopes with confidence.
• Document patient care accurately and communicate effectively with the surgical team.
• Float to other ambulatory surgery centers in the Kansas City area as needed to support our team.

Qualifications

• Active Missouri RN license or compact state license (required)
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience (required)
• Must have circulating experience in Ortho, ENT, GYN, General, and Neuro surgery
• Ability to circulate for Ortho/Total joints, Urogyn, ENT, Podiatry, and Colorectal cases
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Scrub experience and C-arm experience preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of surgical asepsis and sterile technique
• Familiarity with Stryker equipment, C-arm, and surgical video systems
• Ability to anticipate surgeon needs and respond quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills
• Comfortable with paper charting and EMR systems
