Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population including COVID, respiratory, GI, diabetic, telemetry, TIA, CVA, and surgical patients
Interpret telemetry strips and sign off at least once per shift to ensure patient safety
Collaborate with remote monitor techs and the interdisciplinary team for seamless care delivery
Float to East Campus or PCU when qualified, expanding your clinical expertise
Support patients through general, orthopedic, and spinal surgical recoveries with attentive monitoring

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Experience reading basic telemetry strips
Some background with general, orthopedic surgical, CVA, and TIA patients preferred
Cerner experience recommended due to limited orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry interpretation and strip reading
BLS and ACLS protocols
Cerner documentation system
Patient care for med-surg/telemetry populations
Strong assessment and communication skills
