Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to a diverse med/surg patient population
• Assess, plan, and implement nursing care plans tailored to each patient's needs
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments with precision and safety
• Monitor patients' vital signs and conditions, responding quickly to changes
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and the care team to ensure optimal outcomes
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record
• Uphold infection control and safety standards to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire (or compact license where applicable)
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Med/Surg nursing experience strongly preferred
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in medication administration and IV therapy
• Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients
• Compassionate bedside manner and patient advocacy
• Team collaboration and clear communication
