Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Nights

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients on the Medical Surgical unit
Monitor vital signs and telemetry readings to ensure patient safety and comfort
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional outcomes
Educate patients and families about treatment plans and recovery processes
Document care accurately and maintain compliance with all clinical standards

Qualifications

Active RN license in Maine
Minimum 3 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
ACLS and BLS/BCLS certifications required
Telemetry experience preferred
Flu vaccine as mandated by the State of Maine

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and Med Surg protocols
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment
