Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, one-on-one care to laboring patients and newborns
Monitor fetal strips and make critical, real-time decisions that keep moms and babies safe
Titrate Pitocin, magnesium, and insulin drips with precision and confidence
Float to Med-Surg or ER when needed, showcasing your versatility across the hospital
Collaborate with CNAs and the care team to keep the unit running smoothly
Champion quality metrics and help every family feel supported during their most important moments

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS certification required; ACLS, NRP, and STABLE preferred
Proven ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips
Previous travel experience is a plus
Strong critical-thinking skills and adaptability to change

Knowledge & Skills

Fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
Titration of Pitocin, magnesium, and insulin
Critical thinking under pressure
AWHONN staffing guidelines
Meditech EMR experience
Philips telemetry and TraceView/PIP fetal monitoring systems
