Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 05-29-2026

End Date: 08-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, team scheduling with weekend requirements every third for days and every other for nights

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert respiratory care across all patient populations from neonates to geriatrics
Perform EKGs, bedside bronchoscopies, and bedside spirometry with precision
Collaborate daily with providers, nurses, and fellow therapists to deliver outstanding patient outcomes
Float throughout the hospital to support diverse units and patient needs
Manage ventilators, BiPAPs, and high-flow oxygen systems including Drager, Servo I, and Airvo2
Adapt quickly to changing patient conditions while maintaining excellent time management

Qualifications

Current RRT or CRT credential required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
NRP and PALS preferred
Recent Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience required
Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
Minimum 13-week commitment with ability to work rotating weekends and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Strong time management and adaptability
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
Comfort working with neonates through geriatric patients
Experience with Drager, Servo I, Vision, V60, and Airvo2 equipment
