Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry
Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate cardiac telemetry care to patients on a 24-bed unit
- Monitor and interpret EKGs while delivering high-quality nursing interventions
- Collaborate with a dedicated team including charge nurses and patient care technicians
- Float to other telemetry units as needed to support patient care across the facility
- Maintain sterile technique during procedures and ensure patient safety at all times
- Support patients through cardiac stepdown, lung transplant recovery, and ER overflow situations
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Level 1 trauma experience strongly preferred
- Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam with up to two attempts
- Must demonstrate competency in sterile field techniques
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong EKG interpretation and cardiac monitoring skills
- Experience with CPAP and high-flow oxygen systems
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR documentation
- Ability to manage non-titrating drips and support detox patients
- Comfortable floating between telemetry units as census requires
