Respiratory Therapist
Location: Bismarck, North Dakota

End Date: 09-14-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver expert respiratory care across neonatal to geriatric patients
- Support Level II trauma, NICU, ICU, surgical, medical, and cardiac units
- Operate advanced equipment including Airvo, PB 840, PB 980, Hamilton C1, and V-60
- Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Make independent clinical judgments to optimize patient outcomes
- Cover all areas throughout the facility including inpatient, ER, and beyond
Qualifications
- Current RRT or CRT credential
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- Active North Dakota state respiratory therapy license
- Proven NICU experience essential
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound clinical judgment
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong ventilator management across multiple platforms
- Expertise in neonatal, pediatric, and adult respiratory care
- Comfortable with high-flow, CPAP, and BiPAP therapies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Adaptable to rotating weekends and holidays
