Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to laboring mothers and newborns
Monitor fetal strips and interpret vital data to ensure safe deliveries
Titrate medications such as Pitocin, insulin, and magnesium with precision
Float to Med-Surg and ER units as needed, showcasing your versatility
Collaborate with a dedicated team to follow AWHONN guidelines and quality metrics
Support families through every stage of the birthing journey

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS certification required; ACLS, NRP, and STABLE preferred
Previous travel nursing experience is a plus
Strong critical thinking and adaptability to change
Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips confidently

Knowledge & Skills

Fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
Titration of drips including Pitocin, insulin, and magnesium
Critical thinking and quality metric adherence
Meditech EMR experience
Philips telemetry monitors and Traceview/PIP EFM system
