Roles & Responsibilities

• Independently assess and evaluate health status of labor and neonate patients using sharp objective and subjective data
• Collaborate with patients, families, providers, and teams to craft realistic goals and deliver top-notch care plans
• Provide direct patient care through labor, delivery, and postpartum phases while promoting breastfeeding and wellness
• Educate mothers on infant care and document every detail with precision
• Act as a patient advocate, stabilizing conditions and preventing complications in emergencies
• Assist physicians with procedures and support the team in maintaining skills and handling crises

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in Colorado
• BLS and NRP certifications required, ACLS preferred
• Minimum two years of experience in labor and delivery, postpartum, or neonatal care

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in patient assessment and care planning
• Strong patient education and counseling abilities
• Proficiency in labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal care
• Excellent communication with physicians and supervisors
• Team collaboration in high-stakes environments
