Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling, every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate one-to-one care for laboring mothers following AWHONN guidelines
Monitor and titrate critical drips including Magnesium and Oxytocin to support safe deliveries
Deliver expert postpartum care for mom-baby couplets ensuring smooth recoveries
Support neonatal needs with CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow equipment troubleshooting
Circulate during C-sections to advocate for the newborn's safety and comfort
Collaborate with a consistent provider team in a tight-knit rural hospital setting

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
Comfortable working independently with strong clinical judgment
Must pass required respirator fit testing (no facial hair that prevents fit test)

Knowledge & Skills

LDRP nursing with focus on patients greater than 35 weeks gestation
Fetal monitoring using OB Trace Vue system
Titration of antepartum and postpartum medications
Neonatal respiratory support equipment
Strong communication and teamwork in limited-resource settings
