Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $84 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, expert care to laboring mothers and newborns in a supportive environment
Circulate C-sections with confidence and precision, ensuring safety for every patient
Float seamlessly between Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units, adapting to patient needs
Monitor fetal heart rates and respond swiftly to any changes during high-risk deliveries
Collaborate with OB techs, charge nurses, and on-call specialists to deliver outstanding outcomes
Follow each family's unique birth plan with care and respect

Qualifications

Active California RN license
Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications
Minimum 2 years of recent L&D/PP experience
Proven ability to circulate C-sections
Cerner EMR experience preferred
Travel nursing experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong fetal monitoring interpretation with Fetal Link system
Comfortable with high-risk deliveries at 34 weeks and beyond
Excellent communication and teamwork in fast-paced settings
Flexible and adaptable when floating between units
Detail-oriented with a passion for patient-centered care
