Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to mothers during labor, delivery, and recovery
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs closely
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and emergency procedures
• Educate new parents on newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery
• Collaborate with obstetricians, nurses, and the healthcare team to ensure safe outcomes
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification preferred
• Previous Labor and Delivery experience preferred
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rewarding environment
