Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 3 x 12-hour day shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess the developmental level, health status, and health history of women and infants to create personalized care plans
- Perform initial assessment and stabilization of neonates with confidence and skill
- Teach patients and families about self-care and newborn care, empowering them for life at home
- Support family bonding and promote healthy relationships through education and collaboration
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify and support at-risk families, ensuring comprehensive care
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge and clinical skills to deliver exceptional care to mothers and babies
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records is a must
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association
- Completion of an accredited registered nurse program
- Passion for supporting women and families during childbirth
Education
- Completion of an accredited registered nurse program
Knowledge & Skills
- Excellent verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong teamwork and liaison skills to connect with patients, families, and staff
- Ability to stay calm and professional in stressful situations
- Knowledge of maternal and neonatal nursing best practices
- Patient education and family support expertise
