Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert care to mothers during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and C-sections in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs to promote safe outcomes for mom and baby
• Educate and empower new families with newborn care, feeding, and recovery guidance
• Partner with a dedicated team of RNs, CNCs, and surgical technologists to deliver exceptional patient experiences

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas or a compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Hands-on experience with transition, postpartum, and newborn care
• Charge experience is a plus, but not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in fetal monitoring, labor support, and cesarean section assistance
• Strong knowledge of postpartum care and newborn assessment
• Comfortable navigating CPN and Meditech EMR systems
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to stay calm and adaptable in a dynamic patient environment
