Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Start Date: 06-15-2026

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, 10-hour shifts with occasional Saturday coverage 1-2 times per month

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert pre-operative and post-anesthesia care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
Monitor patients recovering from conscious sedation and general anesthesia with precision and compassion
Assist with a variety of body IR procedures including chemoembolization, Y-90 treatments, and vascular access
Collaborate with IR techs and physicians to deliver exceptional patient outcomes in a Level I trauma setting
Educate patients and families about procedures and recovery expectations
Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR while ensuring the highest standards of care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
PALS certification preferred
Pre-op, PACU, or ICU experience strongly preferred
Level I trauma experience required
Interventional Radiology experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
Experience with conscious sedation recovery
Knowledge of body IR procedures and equipment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Comfort working with Cerner EMR system
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced procedural environment
