Roles & Responsibilities

• Administer IV medications and therapies safely and compassionately while monitoring patient responses
• Coordinate infusion center operations including scheduling, prior authorizations, and clinical order reviews
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, ensuring they feel informed and supported
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records, medication administration logs, and transfusion records
• Collaborate with providers, payers, and care teams to deliver seamless, patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved RN School of Nursing
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Minimum of two years RN experience required; at least 3 years preferred by facility
• Current Vermont or multi-state compact Registered Nurse license
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Infusion RN and port experience required
• CRNI certification preferred

• Acute care experience preferred
• Understanding of INS standards and payer communications
