Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered critical care for ICU patients
• Continuously monitor and assess patient condition and respond to changes
• Administer medications and manage complex therapies safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Maintain clear, timely documentation in the patient record and communicate handoffs effectively
• Participate in emergency response and code situations as a trained team member

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with ICU experience — ready to provide critical care
• Active RN licensure in Hawaii (HI) or ability to obtain licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; advanced critical care certifications encouraged
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced ICU environment and adapting to per-diem scheduling
• Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical judgment

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) — BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of critical care assessment and monitoring
• Experience with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
• Proficient in medication administration and IV/central line care
• Skilled at prioritizing tasks and responding to acute changes
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate clinical documentation
