Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor and interpret vital signs, telemetry, and hemodynamic data
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and manage ventilator support
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and update individualized care plans
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa or a compact state
• Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience in critical care or ICU setting (preferred)
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend/holiday
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Completion of health screening and immunization requirements

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of critical care nursing practices
• Proficiency in ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
• Strong patient assessment and emergency response skills
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR)
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to stay calm and effective in high-pressure situations
