Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing operations and ensure smooth patient care during the night shift
• Supervise and support nursing staff, responding quickly to clinical and operational needs
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers to optimize patient flow
• Act as a resource for staff, patients, and families, ensuring a safe and compassionate environment
• Monitor patient conditions and intervene when necessary to maintain high-quality outcomes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to uphold facility policies and standards

Qualifications

• Active California RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (NRP preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience
• Negative TB screening within 12 months of start date
• Strong leadership and communication skills to guide night shift teams

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of nursing care standards and patient safety protocols
• Ability to make sound clinical decisions in fast-paced situations
• Proficiency with EHR systems and documentation
• Skilled in conflict resolution and team coordination
• Familiarity with emergency response and code procedures
