Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM start with variable end times, block scheduling with manager, includes call rotation

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $98 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist surgeons as the first assistant during complex orthopedic, robotic, neuro, GYN, and vascular procedures
Prepare patients and operating rooms for a wide variety of cases from total joints to brain tumor resections
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth case flow and optimal patient outcomes
Float between campuses as needed to support the broader surgical services team
Respond to call within 30 minutes to provide critical coverage for emergent cases

Qualifications

Active RN license with RNFA certification required
BLS and ACLS certifications
Strong experience in ortho, robotics, neuro, and GYN specialties
Comfortable scrubbing and assisting across multiple surgical disciplines
Cerner EMR experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in robotic-assisted procedures and advanced surgical techniques
Solid understanding of orthopedic, neurosurgical, GYN, and vascular case types
Ability to adapt quickly between different campuses and surgical teams
Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced OR environment
