Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of endoscopic procedures, including EGD, colonoscopy, and ERCP, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout
• Administer moderate sedation and continuously monitor patients' vital signs and recovery
• Prepare and maintain endoscopic equipment, scopes, and procedure rooms following strict sterile standards
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of RNs and technicians to deliver high-quality, efficient care
• Document patient assessments, procedures, and outcomes accurately in Meditech EMR
• Participate in on-call coverage and alternating weekends to support the GI lab's patient needs

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
• Current ACLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an Endoscopy/GI lab or similar procedural setting
• Proven competency in EGD, Colonoscopy, and ERCP procedures
• Experience with moderate sedation administration preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with Olympus scopes, Medivator, and Scope Buddy 2 equipment
• Strong working knowledge of Meditech EMR
• Excellent patient assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to handle a fast-paced procedural environment with a calm, focused approach
• Familiarity with bronchoscopy and EBUS is a nice plus
• Team player with great communication and adaptability
