Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: 5x8's or 4x10's, to be discussed in interview, with weekly weeknight call plus weekend call (about 1-2 weeknights per week and every 3 weekends)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform circulating and teching duties for advanced procedures including ERCP and EUS
Manage specialized imaging catheters, sphincterotomy wires, and stents during bile and pancreatic duct treatments
Operate and troubleshoot ultrasound processors while assisting with fine needle aspiration tools
Set up advanced electrocautery equipment and snares for complex polyp removal procedures
Handle balloon catheters for enteroscopy procedures visualizing the small bowel
Assist with endoscopic suturing, stent deployment, and Endoflip device setup
Perform high-level disinfection and reprocessing of complex scopes following SGNA standards

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Strong circulating and teching experience in advanced GI procedures
Willingness to comply with artificial nail policy for patient safety
Ability to pass skills-based orientation exam with 90% score

Knowledge & Skills

ERCP procedure support and equipment management
EUS ultrasound operation and FNA assistance
EMR/ESD setup and electrocautery handling
Enteroscopy and balloon catheter procedures
Endolumenal surgery assistance and scope reprocessing
SGNA standards for high-level disinfection
