End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Self-scheduling with options including 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM, 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, 1:00 PM - 1:00 AM, 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM, Days, and Nights; every other weekend and holiday required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate emergency care to 80-90 patients daily in a fast-paced ER setting
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and triage to prioritize critical needs
Manage trauma, stroke, sepsis, CHF, and cardiac patients with expert clinical skills
Collaborate with physicians, mid-levels, and support staff to deliver exceptional outcomes
Float to qualified units as needed to support the broader care team

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience
Current ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and PALS or ENPC certifications
Strong ECG rhythm interpretation skills

Knowledge & Skills

Emergency Room Nursing expertise
Patient Assessment and Triage proficiency
ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS, and ENPC certifications
ECG rhythm interpretation
Ability to manage diverse patient populations including trauma and cardiac cases
