Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
• Triage patients quickly and accurately to prioritize care based on severity
• Collaborate with ER physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency interventions with confidence
• Monitor and assess patient status continuously, documenting changes in condition
• Provide education and support to patients and families in high-stress situations
• Maintain a calm, organized, and safe emergency department environment

Qualifications

• Active California RN license in good standing
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Minimum 3 years of emergency room nursing experience
• Negative TB screen within 12 months of start date
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts including holidays as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Expertise in emergency triage and rapid decision-making
• Proficiency in emergency procedures, IV starts, and medication administration
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stay composed and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
