Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Three 12-hour shifts weekly, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (day shift)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
- Triage patients quickly and accurately to prioritize care based on severity
- Collaborate with ER physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency interventions with confidence
- Monitor and assess patient status continuously, documenting changes in condition
- Provide education and support to patients and families in high-stress situations
- Maintain a calm, organized, and safe emergency department environment
Qualifications
- Active California RN license in good standing
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum 3 years of emergency room nursing experience
- Negative TB screen within 12 months of start date
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts including holidays as needed
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Expertise in emergency triage and rapid decision-making
- Proficiency in emergency procedures, IV starts, and medication administration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stay composed and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
