Roles & Responsibilities

• Triage and prioritize patients in a fast-paced emergency department
• Provide expert nursing care to patients with acute and critical conditions
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments following protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to create rapid action plans
• Document assessments and interventions accurately and thoroughly
• Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care

Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Minimum of 3 years Emergency Room nursing experience
• Negative TB test within the last 12 months
• Comfortable working night shifts including weekends and holidays
• Ready to start a 13-week travel assignment quickly

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong emergency triage and patient assessment skills
• Critical thinking and quick decision-making in high-pressure situations
• Proficiency with BLS, ACLS, and PALS protocols
• Excellent communication with patients, families, and the care team
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
