Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
Assess, triage, and prioritize patients in a fast-paced ED environment
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per protocols
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and the healthcare team to deliver optimal outcomes
Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana or compact state
BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
ACLS certification preferred
Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience preferred
Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Emergency nursing procedures and protocols
Patient assessment and triage skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency with electronic health records
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
