Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency care to patients of all ages
• Triage patients efficiently to prioritize urgent medical needs
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to stabilize acute conditions
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and discharge instructions

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Hampshire or a compact state
• Current BLS certification (AHA required)
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
• Prior emergency department or critical care experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking, triage, and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Emergency nursing principles and evidence-based practices
• Patient assessment, triage, and stabilization techniques
• ECG interpretation and cardiac monitoring
• Wound care, splinting, and emergency procedures
• Electronic health records (EHR) proficiency
• Effective communication and teamwork in high-pressure situations
