Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care to high-acuity cardiac surgery patients including IABP, ECMO, and CRRT management
Monitor and respond to complex bedside procedures such as bronchoscopies and Swan-Ganz catheter placements
Collaborate with intensivists and the multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions
Float to other ICUs and Telemetry units while maintaining excellent patient ratios and outcomes
Maintain sterile technique during critical skills like central line dressing changes and Foley catheter insertions

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years ICU experience with Level I Trauma background
CVICU experience strongly preferred
CCRN certification a plus
Strong IV skills and comfort with high-acuity cardiac devices

Knowledge & Skills

Cerner EMR documentation
Phillips telemetry monitoring
Cardiac surgery recovery protocols
Impella, IABP, ECMO, and CRRT management
Sterile field maintenance and infection prevention
