Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-acuity nursing care to critically ill patients in a 26-bed CCU/ICU
• Monitor and manage complex cardiac and critical care patients, including those on balloon pumps, CRRT, and hypothermia protocols
• Administer and titrate medication drips, manage central lines, and assist with cardioversion procedures
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of RNs, charge nurses, and patient care techs to deliver excellent patient outcomes
• Document accurately in Meditech EMR and communicate effectively with the care team

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications
• Previous Meditech EMR experience is a plus
• Travel ICU experience is preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of critical care nursing practices and cardiac monitoring
• Experience with hemodynamic support devices, including balloon pumps and CRRT
• Skill in managing medication drips, central lines, and emergency interventions
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
