Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiology procedures using state-of-the-art GE equipment
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure accurate imaging for patient care
• Provide compassionate care to patients during exams, explaining procedures and positioning them safely
• Support OR, Fluoro, and Emergency Department imaging needs with precision and efficiency
• Document procedures accurately in the Meditech EMR system
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with hospital policies

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of current experience as a Radiology Technician
• At least 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technician preferred
• Active ARRT (R) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Active Kansas state licensure or the ability to obtain before start
• Trauma or OR experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently while collaborating as part of a team
• A positive, confident attitude and dedication to patient-centered care

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of diagnostic imaging principles, protocols, and radiation safety
• Experience operating GE imaging equipment
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR system
• Understanding of OR, Fluoro, and ED imaging procedures
• Excellent patient communication and positioning skills
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
• Team-oriented with a can-do attitude
