Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee the entire Radiology program with confidence and precision
Track and ensure radiology studies are submitted and reported accurately
Provide essential PACS training to empower your team
Collaborate with administrators and directors to uphold top-quality standards
Manage equipment maintenance, inspections, and procurement quotes
Develop and maintain vital radiology policies and procedures
Lead radiation protection monitoring for staff safety
Optimize the radiology chargemaster with Finance for better revenue
Conduct quality assurance and prepare impactful reports
Supervise daily operations, evaluations, and competencies of radiology staff
Perform radiologic exams as a qualified expert when needed

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited School of Radiology
Registered Radiological Technologist (ARRT) required
Registered Mammographer preferred
Registered US Technologist preferred
Basic Life Support certification
5 years experience in Radiology Management and supervision
5 years experience as Radiology Technologist
PACS training experience
CT technologist experience preferred
MRI technologist experience preferred

Education

Graduate from an accredited School of Radiology

Knowledge & Skills

Federal, state, and accreditation regulations for SEARHC radiology services
Digitized imaging expertise
MQSA requirements
Effective oral and written communication
Ability to supervise employees including indirect reports
Multi-tasking in fast-paced environments
Writing radiology manuals
Documenting medical information organizedly
Building strong team environments
Learning new imaging exams quickly
