Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic imaging procedures with precision and care
• Ensure patient safety by following radiation protection protocols
• Position patients and equipment to obtain optimal diagnostic images
• Work closely with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging results
• Maintain imaging equipment and report any malfunctions
• Provide compassionate care to pediatric patients and their families

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification in Radiography required
• Oregon state radiologic technologist license (or ability to obtain)
• BLS certification required
• Experience in pediatric imaging is a plus
• Ability to work effectively in a flexible per diem environment
• Strong verbal communication and patient engagement skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of radiographic positioning and anatomy
• Technical proficiency with X-ray equipment and PACs
• Knowledge of ALARA principles and radiation safety
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent interpersonal skills with patients and families
• Attention to detail in documentation and image quality
