Radiologic Technologist
Location: Portland, Oregon

Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Flexible 12.5-hour shifts, per diem schedule with varying days and times
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic imaging procedures with precision and care
- Ensure patient safety by following radiation protection protocols
- Position patients and equipment to obtain optimal diagnostic images
- Work closely with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging results
- Maintain imaging equipment and report any malfunctions
- Provide compassionate care to pediatric patients and their families
Qualifications
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography required
- Oregon state radiologic technologist license (or ability to obtain)
- BLS certification required
- Experience in pediatric imaging is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a flexible per diem environment
- Strong verbal communication and patient engagement skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid understanding of radiographic positioning and anatomy
- Technical proficiency with X-ray equipment and PACs
- Knowledge of ALARA principles and radiation safety
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent interpersonal skills with patients and families
- Attention to detail in documentation and image quality
